1964 Falcon Ranchero Deluxe
In 1964 Ford only made about 9900 of these Ranchero trucks. For some reason the one you see most is the standard model. This truck is a Deluxe model. The Deluxe is identified by the double chrome for the full body length, the chevron at the rear (between the double chrome) and the full length of chrome on the bottom of the body, between the tire wells. This truck is a little unusual (rare?) it has a 144 cu. in. six, three speed and no PS or PB. I bought this truck from the son of the previous owner who told me his father installed the 144 six for better gas mileage. The 170 six/manual transmission (all connected together) comes with the truck. I was told it ran fine when pulled to install the 144 six. The original five rims go with the truck.

This is a blue plate California truck. It has always been registered in CA and is currently titled and licensed. This is running and driving truck. I have the clear title. (California)

THE GOOD
• New P195/70R14 Bridgestone tires
• Era correct 14 x 7 mag wheels. On the inside they say "U. S. 500" or "Shelby 500". They are the same wheel
• Brand new radiator
• Brand new saddle blanket seat cover. The seat under the cover needs to be recovered.
• Good glass all around
• Air shocks in the rear
• Over load springs (see picture) in the rear
• Trailer hitch
• Electric fuel pump, works but not connected
• Cheapie electric air horn, works but not connected
• G T Grant steering wheel. I have the original wheel that goes with the car.
• The truck is rust free. Good floors, bed, doors and quarters. Small rust. See below
• Replacement radio with two speakers. One behind the driver and one behind the passenger. Dash fit not so good.

THE BAD
• The car needs to be painted. See pictures
• Dent damage behind left rear fender opening
• Rust behind driver and passenger seats against bulkhead on the "floor". See pictures. The truck is rust free except for this area. I cannot figure out way it rusted the way it did?
• The temperature gauge does not work but has been replaced with an after market one under the dash. See picture.
• The gas gauge and emergency brake do not work
• Driver door panel is missing
• Cannot confirm mileage of 95,000.
• The engine compartment has not been detailed.
